The question

I am married to a USA born American for 8 years. A year ago, my immigrant visa issuance - at the US embassy at my country of origin - Ecuador -was REFUSED for misrepresentation. 25 years ago I had told an immigration officer at the US_Mexico border, that I was a Mexican nacional. On June 2024, we submitted the 601 waiver on the grounds of inadmissibility. During my interview, the officer told me that my marriage was bonafide and our marriage is for real. Being unable to enter the USA has been a financial disaster for our family; we can barely survive. It's almost a year, and it feels hopeless with everything happening in the USA. I can not organize my live in long term anywhere. Should I give up the hope to enter the US, and start re-building my life and my career in the Ecuador? Ecuador is where I was born but I have been absent for 25 years and I am having a hard time adjusting and finding a job. I just turned 50, 2 days ago. thank you JMND
