The question
I hired a dog walker thru a reputable company and while on a walk my dog allegedly bit someone. According to witnesses no skin was broken just a scratch (although I’m sure scary and possibly painful) His rabies license is expired due to covid and life events. Now the injured party is threatening to “get an attorney”. I called animal control as soon as I was informed of the incident myself but they said not reported. What should I do? I don’t want to live in constant fear of being sued!
