The question
I’m a married green card holder, and I filed an I‑130 petition for my wife under the F2A category with a priority date of 6/4/2026. I-130 is pending decision. My wife (indian citizen born is Saudi Arabia) is visiting me (US) on a B1/B2 visa, She came here on Feb 1 2026, Can I file an I‑485 adjustment of status for her even though the I‑130 hasn’t been approved yet? Can she continue to stay with me until a decision is made. Will she be considered as over stayed on her visa ?
